There is certainly a chill in the air with snow and sleet forecast for Huntingdon.
If you are over 60 the Government will again be making Winter Fuel Payments to help with the cost of keeping warm. Those over 60 to 70 should receive either £125 or £250 depending on services and for those over 80 the payment rises to either £200 or £400. This payment is tax free and should be arriving now at the onset of winter just when it is really needed.  If you do not receive your payment  soon there is a helpline to call to make sure you receive your fuel  allowance, just call 08459 15 15 15.
