We in the local Labour party family are saddened to learn of George Seager’s passing.
He was an outstanding politician and party stalwart – in fact for for many years he was the Labour Party in St Neots.
George was a dedicated and compassionate man who always had the best interests of St Neots and its residents at heart. With his late wife, Daisy, he was also a mainstay of the town’s carnival organising committee – working hard to make it a success year after year.
George was a true socialist who believed in public service and ‘giving something back’ to his community.
The Huntingdon Labour Party campaigns to bring about a better quality of life for everyone by promoting Labour policies. If you’re not already a Labour Party member, we encourage you to become one today.
There’s a lot to do but we are confident that, with your help, we can work both locally & nationally to effect the change that we need.
PS: Have you registered to vote? Tory changes have already removed large swathes of voters from the electoral roll and many more will disappear over the next few months. Sign up here and see how important registering is seen by the Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
