Commemoration Hall, Huntingdon

Huntingdon’s distinctive Commemoration Hall has been a venue for all sorts of community events ever since it was founded in the 1920s, taking over from the old Literary Institute. It is now threatened with closure as the Trustees, wearing their other hats as Tory Town Councillors, have denied the hall the grant that it needs to remain in operation. The current plan for capital projects may just save it though – see Hunts Post Jan 7th 2016.
